Okay hi, so these are really really good. And they’re only 100cal each and there are 17g of protein. :D

and then i realize that it’s because this whole journey has made me that much of a stronger person. And when it’s over, I will have done something that I have thought to be impossible. And I guess that’s pretty remarkable. 

This. I feel that I was meant to be overweight to go through the journey of weight loss.

YES YES YES YES YES!!! I’m slowly becoming stronger each day.

So I’ve lost 8lbs even over the past two weeks

Okay, hi.

So my grandmother took me out to breakfast today. I’m on Day 2 of the 3-Day Diet so I had one egg, over medium with one slice of white toast, no butter, and black coffee with like, 4 packets of Equal. (haha) I didn’t have any grapefruit at home, so I made two cups of cucumbers, mixed with 1 stalk of celery, cut up, with salt and pepper, and I’ve been snacking on it since I got home. (Only 30 calories, and it’s a good all-day snack!)

ANYWAY.

My grandmother and I went to Wrentham Village and she went shopping, then we went to Job Lot (kind of like a RI version fo Big Lots, but smaller), and bought me two pairs of sweatpants. Then she took me back to the house so she could change, and surprised me with a 3-month gym membership! So we came back to my house so I could change and then off we went!

SO I just came back from the gym…my first day, so I didn’t expect much.

BUT. I did a half hour on the treadmill on 3.0 and then inclined it to 5.0 and went up to 3.5, then gradually worked my heart rate back down and then did a full workout of my upper arms and chest…with the assistance of the lovely (yet grumpy) gym guy. 

I got up to 80-90lbs on the weights, which, I’m not saying is good, but was MUCH better than I expected! Needless to say, I’m pretty freaking happy.

Basically we developed a schedule where we go every weekday and then I’ll be going for yoga on Saturdays. My 3-month membership only cost $50 because I’m a student and…get this. THE CLASSES AT THIS GYM ARE FREE IF YOU’RE A MEMBER!

So right now, I’m eating a very late lunch of a boiled egg and slice of toast, both sprinkled with garlic pepper and a tiny bit of salt, with the rest of my cucumbers and celery, and pounding down a glass of water.

All in all, today was a super productive day. If most days continue like today, I’ll be talking to a recruiter by next year! 140lbs, fuck off, you’re no longer welcome here! : )
